Target Tuesdays: Summer Colour!

Happy Target Tuesday!!

I saw this blouse online while I was browsing on Target's website and I wish they had it at my local store! Instead of crying about it (ok, I exaggerate) I decided to do a Polyvore set of how I would style it. I had a lot of fun pulling the colours together to create this outfit but then I couldn't make up my mind as to which colour skinny denim I would wear (!!) so I choose all 3! What do you think? Target Tuesdays: Leopard Skinnies

When it comes to prints, I’m not one of those people who go overboard with animal prints on my purse, jacket, and accessories, but when I saw these leopard printed pants, my animal instincts perked up with ohhhs and ahhhs of how I could do some damage with those pants! (with a great outfit of course). For Target Tuesday, these leopard printed skinnies are way too cute to pass up. They can be dressed up with pumps, open toe sandals, or cute converses (which I have a pair of mustard yellow converses that would go perfect with this outfit!) Here's a few things to keep in mind when you wear your leopard skinnies!


Since leopard pants are an all over print, pair your leopard pants with a solid colour top. This will make your pants the focal point as the main item so everything else serves as an accent instead of an eye sore.

Don’t be afraid to add colour to your printed outfit! I can easily see a pretty pink blouse with these pants to add vibrancy to the overall look or a bold color belt to create contrast.
 
Accessorize! Even if it is minimal, it will give a simple, fresh, and clean look to your outfit.

Wear your skinnies with confidence! Having a vibrant personality to match your pants is key to individuality!

Target Tuesdays: June Ambrose Looks for Target

It’s no secret that June Ambrose has been popping up on everyone’s radar over the past few months (and when I say everyone, I mean everyone who’s outside the circle fashion that has never heard of her before). If you’ve never heard of her before it’s understandable. Kind of. She’s worked behind the scenes not only as a stylist but as an image consultant for many celebrities for the past 20 years- long before celebrity and fashion reality shows started gaining popularity. I’m actually happy that she’s getting her own show only because she’s been in the business for so long without any recognition from the media.

So when I saw June's styled looks for Target yesterday, I knew I had to ditch the clothes that I just bought for Target Tuesday and feature her looks instead (I’ll feature my look for next week so it’s not overshadowed by her amazing looks). I love the use of colour throughout! I’m definitely a colour advocate!
