Blues, Greens, and Limes: Wide Leg Pants and Turbans

A few weeks ago I came across this amazing fabric that I intended to make into a pencil skirt, since I have a hard time finding fitted skirts in my size (most places sell clothing too big) but before I cut the fabric into pieces I just had to make this cool turban! I love it because I tied it to form pleats toward the front to give it a fanning effect.

It has finally stopped raining (it was the rainiest month we ever had) and it's becoming consistently sunny outside, so my mood as been improving with the weather ever so nicely. I cannot wait for summer festivals and warm nights when I can free myself from a cumbersome jacket!

Shoes: Target
Vintage Belt
Blouse: Charlotte Rouse
Pants: From Spain somewhere

  5. I LOVE YOUR PANTS ! I sew my own clothing sometimes when I can't find things I like or when the items in the stores don't fit me. Nice idea to make the fabric into a head tie before using it.
